Arctotis Hybriden -

continental : These plants need to have a constantly damp soil, for which usually 1-2 glasses of water are used; during the bitter months we advise watering every 10-11 days.

alpine : Let’s water every 10-11 days, or even more often using 0-1 glasses of water, remembering that the soil should always be slightly moist and cool, but not soaked with water.

mediterranean : Let’s try to water regularly with 2-3 glasses of water, so that the soil is always fairly moist; normally watering every 10-11 days or so is enough.

continental : Plant which needs to be exposed to direct sunrays.
These plants aren't rustic, they can't stand the frost; during the cold months they are placed in a cold greenhouse or in the house.

alpine : These plants need to be cultivated in a place exposed to direct sunrays.
These plants can’t stand the frost, therefore it’s advisable to put them in shelter, in the house or in a cold greenhouse.

mediterranean : These plants love very sunny places, being exposed to direct sunrays even for many hours a day.
The Arctotis Hybriden can’t stand iciness, therefore during the coldest months of the year we suggest locating it in a place where it’s sheltered from the wind.

Feed Arctotis Hybriden : During the wintry months many perennial plants are in vegetative rest, therefore they don’t need fertilizing.

Adversity Arctotis Hybriden : A treatment with a fungicide based on sulphur and copper is usually used at the end of the Winter, to discourage the rising of the most common diseases.
