continental : Watering occurs only when there are long periods of drought or when the ground is very dry, using 1,5 litres of water; during this period of the year usually watering once every 2-3 weeks can be enough if the weather is mild.

alpine : During this period of the year it’s not necessary to water the The Berberis media too often; usually watering should be done every 3-4 weeks with 0,5 litres of water, but only if the soil is dry. We suggest watering only during periods with a mild climate.

mediterranean : Let’s water not too frequently, but regularly using 2,5 litres of water, when the soil is clearly dry. During this period of the year watering every 1-2 weeks can be enough, but only during the milder days.

continental : These plants need, for a balanced development, to be grown in a sunny place.
These plants are located in the garden during all the seasons, as they can stand intense cold and ice.

These plants can stand even intense freezing without problems, so they’re grown in the garden even during the winter months.

mediterranean : We advise locating these plants where they can be directly exposed to solar rays.
These plants can stand the cold, therefore they can be grown in the garden.
