Cyclamen coum

continental : These plants need to have a constantly damp soil, for which usually 1-2 glasses of water are used; during the bitter months we advise watering every 1-2 weeks.

alpine : Let’s water every 2-3 weeks, or even more often using 0-1 glasses of water, remembering that the soil should always be slightly moist and cool, but not soaked with water.

mediterranean : Let’s try to water regularly with 2-3 glasses of water, so that the soil is always fairly moist; normally watering every 0-1 weeks or so is enough.

continental : Grow the The Cyclamen coum in a place where it is protected by direct solar rays for good part of the day.
The Cyclamen coum can stand temperatures a few degrees below zero; during the coldest periods of the year it is moved to the cold greenhouse, or it is protected by a non-woven fabric.

alpine : Locate this plant in a partially shaded place, where it can receive a few hours of direct sunlight.
During the cold months it’s best to shelter these plants from the most intense freezing; let’s move them to a cold greenhouse, or let’s cover them with some a non-woven fabric.

mediterranean : It is advisable to grow these plants in a bright place, which is exposed to direct solar rays only during the coolest hours of the day.
These plants are grown in full ground all year round; they can stand the cold.

Feed Cyclamen coum : Let’s avoid fertilizing apartment plants during the coldest months of the year. Usually during these months these plants tend not to produce new vegetation, therefore it’s not necessary to enrich the soil with mineral salts.

Adversity Cyclamen coum : A treatment with a fungicide based on sulphur and copper is usually used at the end of the Winter, to discourage the rising of the most common diseases.
