Lavandula x intermedia - French lavender

continental : These plants need to have a constantly damp soil, for which usually 1-2 buckets of water are used; during the bitter months we advise watering every 2-3 weeks.

alpine : Let’s water every 3-4 weeks, or even more often using 0-1 buckets of water, remembering that the soil should always be slightly moist and cool, but not soaked with water.

mediterranean : Let’s try to water regularly with 2-3 buckets of water, so that the soil is always fairly moist; normally watering every 1-2 weeks or so is enough.

continental : Plant which needs to be exposed to direct sunrays.
The Lavandula x intermedia can stand temperatures a few degrees below zero; during the coldest periods of the year it is moved to the cold greenhouse, or it is protected by a non-woven fabric.

alpine : These plants need to be cultivated in a place exposed to direct sunrays.
During the cold months it’s best to shelter these plants from the most intense freezing; let’s move them to a cold greenhouse, or let’s cover them with some a non-woven fabric.

mediterranean : These plants love very sunny places, being exposed to direct sunrays even for many hours a day.
These plants are grown in full ground all year round; they can stand the cold.
