Mazus reptans

continental : Watering occurs only when there are long periods of drought or when the ground is very dry, using 1-2 glasses of water; during this period of the year usually watering once every 1-2 weeks can be enough if the weather is mild.

alpine : During this period of the year it’s not necessary to water the The Mazus reptans too often; usually watering should be done every 2-3 weeks with 0-1 glasses of water, but only if the soil is dry. We suggest watering only during periods with a mild climate.

mediterranean : Let’s water not too frequently, but regularly using 2-3 glasses of water, when the soil is clearly dry. During this period of the year watering every 0-1 weeks can be enough, but only during the milder days.

continental : These plants need, for a balanced development, to be grown in a sunny place.
We suggest, during the coldest months of the year, to grow these plants in a sheltered place, where the freezing is not too intense.

These plants can stand short frosts, but during the coldest months of the year we suggest covering them with a non-woven fabric, or move them to a cold greenhouse.

mediterranean : We advise locating these plants where they can be directly exposed to solar rays.
The Mazus reptans can stand the cold, therefore it can be planted in full ground in the garden.

Fertilize Mazus reptans : Perennial plants don’t need fertilizing during the winter months; many of these plants during this period of the year are in vegetative rest.
