continental : Watering will be regular by using 0-1 glasses of water, but not often, only when the climate is arid or the ground dries out very much. Average watering occurs every 1-2 weeks.

alpine : The ground should be wet every 2-3 weeks, only when it is clearly dry; if the climate is very harsh it is best to water it. The recommended doses are -1-0 glasses of water.

mediterranean : Every 0-1 weeks water the plant, waiting for the soil to dry completely between one watering and the other, generally using about 1-2 glasses of water.

continental : Grow the the Oncidium in a place where it is protected by direct solar rays for good part of the day.
These plants can’t stand the cold; during the cold season they are grown in the apartment.

alpine : Locate this plant in a partially shaded place, where it can receive a few hours of direct sunlight.
These plants can’t stand the cold and need minimum temperatures above 15°C, therefore they are grown in the apartment.

mediterranean : It is advisable to grow these plants in a bright place, which is exposed to direct solar rays only during the coolest hours of the day.
We advise growing the the Oncidium in the apartment because it can’t stand the cold.

Feed Oncidium : We should avoid giving fertilizers to our orchids during the winter.

Adversity Oncidium : During this period of the year it might be necessary to apply anticoccidiosis treatments based on white oil.
