continental : These plants need to have a constantly damp soil, for which usually 1-2 glasses of water are used; during the bitter months we advise watering every 10-11 days.

alpine : Let’s water every 10-11 days, or even more often using 0-1 glasses of water, remembering that the soil should always be slightly moist and cool, but not soaked with water.

mediterranean : Let’s try to water regularly with 2-3 glasses of water, so that the soil is always fairly moist; normally watering every 10-11 days or so is enough.

The Rhodohypoxis baurii can stand temperatures a few degrees below zero; during the coldest periods of the year it is moved to the cold greenhouse, or it is protected by a non-woven fabric.

These plants are grown in full ground all year round; they can stand the cold.

Feed Rhodohypoxis baurii : During the wintry months many perennial plants are in vegetative rest, therefore they don’t need fertilizing.
